Appellant was charged by information in the Criminal Court of Record in and for Dade County, Florida, with manslaughter. The information alleged that he was operating a motor vehicle in a negligent, careless, and reckless manner contrary to Â§ 782.07, Fla.Stat., F.S.A., causing mortal wounds to another. He pleaded not guilty. The cause was submitted to a jury. The evidence was that he had run a red light while on the wrong side of the street and while under the influence of alcohol. The jury returned a verdict of guilty; judgment and sentence accordingly.
